The Property Support Specialist rotates between properties in the Pillar Properties portfolio, providing key operational support as well as training and implementation of new software and initiatives.

This critical role ensures the success of our properties and provides value to team members through your expertise and daily support. You will have the opportunity to serve in every operational capacity to deliver upon our promise of an exceptional living experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Support different communities in a variety of situations, requiring a high level of adaptability, ownership and leadership as required by the community’s needs 
  • Rotate between communities of varying sizes, types, and ages, adapting to nuances in policies, marketing efforts and business strategies at each location, requiring a high degree of independence, accountability, and an ability to work with varying levels of supervision 
  • Interact directly with prospective and current residents 
  • Handle traffic, lease apartments, qualifying prospect, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in paperwork and procedures 
  • Assist in administering leases, reviewing resident lease charges, enforcing lease compliance, and performing landlord obligations as directed by the Property Manager 
  • Assist with the eviction of tenants in compliance with court order and directions from legal counsel and Regional Manager in the absence of the Property Manager  
  • Direct the day-to-day activities and property operations as assigned, or when Property Manager is not on site
  • Work with Regional Manager on special projects as assigned

This team members schedule is: 

Thursday – Monday 9 AM – 6 PM and is subject to change according to property and team needs  

What You Bring

  • Two years in leasing or assistant property management preferred
  • Travel as assigned between local properties with an ability to have a flexible schedule and work weekends 
  • Knowledge in Yardi Systems Property Management Software required  
  • CRM and RENTCafé Online Leasing experience preferred
  • BlueMoon – National Apartment Association Lease familiarity preferred 
  • Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and adequate car insurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft’s Office 365 Suite of products
  • Self-starter, ambitious and thrives in a dynamic environment
