IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) Western Washington recently hosted the IREM Chapter 27 ICON Event to honor IREM's 2018 Real Estate ICON of the Year, Pillar Properties president, Billy Pettit.
The event recognized and celebrated the tremendous contributions that make Pettit a true ICON in the Real Estate Industry. The event panel provided an opportunity for Pettit to share his story and his vision of Pillar Properties being Quietly Awesome at all levels, across all aspects of the business and with every engagement.
Pettit set out to create a culture first real estate company and was successful by putting people first. He attributes his success to the team at Pillar Properties. "There is a difference between good people, and the right people," Pettit said. "We have a team that I owe all the credit to, a team that shares a commitment to our collective success."
Pettit is responsible for the oversight of the development pipelines and asset management for Pillar Properties. Under his leadership, the company has grown to become a respected developer in the Puget Sound region.
