Property Manager - Multi-Site

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Property Manager will be responsible for all operational and financial aspects of their community, as well as meeting company goals in those areas. The Property Manager will facilitate the optimum performance of the communities in areas such as leasing and marketing, collections, resident services and events, maintenance, information reporting, personnel management, maintenance revenue enhancement and compliance with all company policies. Adherence to a customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to team members and residents is paramount.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • CAM or CPM designations preferred
  • Progressive experience in leasing or property management required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule with regular and timely attendance
  • Knowledge of residential real estate including a broad understanding of finance, leasing, legal, marketing, construction, and the resident relations requirements of managing a mixed-use property
  • Knowledge of market trends and ability to exercise judgment and make suggested improvements in marketing and resident retention efforts
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare detailed budgets, variance reporting and operating forecasts
  • Must exercise judgment and discretion is critical to success. Must be professional at setting priorities and coping with competing demands
  • Knowledge of Yardi property management software highly preferred
  • Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to present ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner
  • Positive, innovative approach to problem solving
  • Previous supervisory experience is required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Maintenance Supervisor leads the on-site maintenance staff and participates in the diagnosis of problems and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural, and appliances. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the community meet Pillar’s established standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide exemplary customer service to team members and residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior supervisory experience in Maintenance.
  • Must have working knowledge of electrical & plumbing systems, appliances, floor care and HVAC; working knowledge of fire suppression & irrigation systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with regular and timely attendance, and respond to emergencies or on call situations as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be familiar with budgets and expense reports, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and strive to always provide exceptional customer service.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Project Assistant - Seattle Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Assistant provides administrative support to complete a variety of projects, and ongoing daily administrative tasks for the team. The Project Assistant may participate during all phases of the project life cycle. Under the direction of manager and owner of the projects, the Project Assistant helps move projects towards completion by performing project and office administration tasks, which typically include production and distribution of collateral  file management, data collection, report creation, proofreading, research, order processing, scheduling and team collaboration.                     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Prior experience with a development and/or construction company is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adherence to strict confidentiality
  • Positive, innovative approach to problem solving
  • Uses discretion and good judgment, is internally motivated, and is able to work independently.
  • Must be Detail-Oriented
