What an incredible night volunteering with our sister company Merrill Gardens as the servers at FareStart Guest Chef Night with Chef Brian Pusztai of Urbane Restaurant!
We love the work that FareStart does - transforming lives through education programs that train people who are disadvantaged to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food industry. Guest Chef Night provides a unique opportunity for FareStart students to train with premier chefs from the Seattle area and we were happy to play a part in it.
We were thrilled to tie on our aprons and take on the dining room while FareStart students assisted Chef Pusztai in creating an impressive three-course meal! Our team members who were not serving packed the house as guests and we raised over $11,000 in tips for Farestart. Not a bad night's work!
