Emerald Award Winners!

|

Our teams raked in some big awards at the 2017 Washington Multi-Family Housing Association Emerald Awards - winning in four major categories.  We are so proud of our property teams and the individuals who were recognized and it was a thrill to see them on the big stage in front of a huge crowd.  It shows that our teams commitment to being Quietly Awesome is the key to our success.

Community of the Year - The Century

To win this award a property team needs to be on top of their game with resident satisfaction as the goal.  There were tons of entries in this category and we are bursting with pride that The Century emerged the winner!

New Development of the Year- The Meyden

This award recognizes a property that opened last year and has shown tremendous success.  With so many new apartment buildings in our state in the past year, this is a very competitive category and an incredible honor for the team at The Meyden.

Opening a new property can be a challenge but our team made it look easy and always kept their eye on ensuring that residents are happy in their new home.

Maintenance Technicians of the Year - Roger Byron and Doron Jones

It was a sweep for Pillar Properties in this category - Roger from The Meyden (apartments with over 150 units) and Doron from Stadium Place (apartments over 300 units).  Roger and Doron are pretty amazing at what they do and we are not surprised that the judges were impressed with their customer service skills in addition to their technical skills.  We frequently hear from residents at both properties about the terrific work these two do every day.

Here is Doron accepting his award.

And here is Roger on stage.  They both gave excellent speeches too!

Our team loved cheering for all of our winners - and yes, we took lots of pictures!
