Maintenance Technician II - The Lyric

Pillar Properties has an exciting opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team at The Lyric, our Capitol Hill Property! The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for assisting in the physical upkeep and maintenance of both the interior and exterior building(s) and surrounding property. Adherence to our quietly awesome vision by providing exemplary customer service to team members and residents is paramount.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have prior experience with prep and painting abilities.
  • Must have own hand tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
  • Physical Requirements: The employee must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs., use of hands, fingers, touching, able to communicate with clients through talking, hearing, writing, and keyboarding. Frequently required to: sit, walk, stand, and reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Property Manager

Pillar Properties has an exciting opportunity available to join our team as a Property Manager overseeing two amazing communities throughout the Greater Seattle Area! The Property Manager will be responsible for all operational and financial aspects of their community, as well as meeting company goals in those areas. The Property Manager will facilitate the optimum performance of the communities in areas such as leasing and marketing, collections, resident services and events, maintenance, information reporting, personnel management, maintenance revenue enhancement and compliance with all company policies. Adherence to a customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to team members and residents is paramount.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • CAM or CPM designations preferred
  • At least 3 years management experience required
  • Progressive experience in leasing or property management required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule with regular and timely attendance
  • Knowledge of residential real estate including a broad understanding of finance, leasing, legal, marketing, construction, and the tenant relations requirements of managing a mixed-use property preferred
  • Knowledge of market trends and ability to exercise judgment and make suggested improvements in marketing and resident retention efforts
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare detailed budgets, variance reporting and operating forecasts
  • Must exercise judgment and discretion is critical to success. Must be professional at setting priorities and coping with competing demands
  • Knowledge of Yardi property management or other property management software highly preferred
  • Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to present ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner
  • Positive, innovative approach to problem solving
  • Previous supervisory experience is required

Leasing Specialist – The Lyric

Pillar Properties is looking for a charismatic and dynamic Leasing Professional who is passionate about representing the best apartment homes in the Puget Sound area! We have an immediate opportunity available at our beautiful community, The Lyric in Capitol Hill.

This is a full-time position; we are looking for someone with the flexibility to work Thursday - Monday, daily shifts will vary.

Ideal candidates are passionate, high energy, customer service driven and looking for a career opportunity. Prior leasing experience is preferred. Prior experience in a sales and/or customer service environment is a must!

As a member of our team, you will interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy which will include generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in paperwork.
